A great museum! It has several areas, such as history, art (old and new) and nature (stuffed animals). It is spacious and very well organized, and it has a modern look. The employees are nice and give you details about the exhibited items, and even struck up casual conversation. The entrance fee is 5€. They also sometimes have a separate exhibition (when I visited they had a ceramics exhibition), and if you want to visit that too the entry is 8€, museum and exhibition incuded. I recommend visiting it!
Well presented exhibition and a good example of how to combine modern and historic architecture combined with friendly staff.
Fine museum with a rich history. The building itself is worth a visit. The collection ranges from archeology to art and objects and is nicely displayed.
The temporary exhibition that we visited was incredible. Gorgeous display of various objects, items, artworks,... One of the best temporary exhibitions I've seen.
I loved how some pieces were made interactive as to completely immerse you into experiencing the painting. Especially Floor 0 attributes to these experiences, making the visit more child friendly.
Definitely go all the way to the 2nd and 5th floor (terrace and panorama).
Impressive museum in the old Bishops palace. The rebuilding of the museum, which reopened in 2013, gives very impressive spaces well connected to its surroundings.
Amazing art collection. So much they offer an all day ticket so you can go out to lunch and come back. We never did see it all.
What a collection! Bit random in terms of things on display, but uber interesting. Archeology, stuffed animals, art..
And with five stories, ensure you consider having enough time for the visit 😜 …
A really beautiful and interesting place where my kids love to go. Paintings are amazing and people are adorable. We go there quite regularly. Free on every first Sunday of the month.
The museum has plenty of great arts to see in family ,( The little ones are entertained by completing some quiz at almost each floor, the book/ flier are handed to them at reception) Which keeps them engaged all along. Worth to visit😍
We got there just 45minutes before it closes for lunch and we were told our tickets would get us back in at two. The exhibits were awesome and the building an exhibit of its own, dating back centuries....do not miss the church next door, or the delightful Town square. So glad we made it a stop on our road trip!
Excellent museum of art and history. Very good concept, covering all the fields. Small, but very interesting collection of prehistoric pottery and items. Beautiful paintings and modern art exhibition. Great views(with explanations) on the top. Everyone who designed this museum (architects, curators...) did an amazing job.
